Hi there,

My name is Yulia Kenigson and I first discovered yoga around 30 years ago.

After experimenting with different yoga styles, I have dedicated the past 15 years of my practice to Transformative Yoga, a method developed by Ganga Hoogendoorn, with whom I completed my teacher training.

As part of this training, I also completed a massage course, based on Shiatsu and Ayurvedic techniques.

 

My mission is to support people in strengthening their mental and physical health and resilience, using yoga, meditation and massage.

Transformative Yoga distinguishes itself from most common yoga styles by giving, in addition to physical postures, considerable attention to meditation, breathing and mindfulness.

 

Each posture is performed with precision, giving participants the opportunity to observe not only their bodies, but also their thoughts and feelings.

 

This conscious way of practicing helps to gain insight into one’s own (behaviour) patterns, such as crossing personal boundaries or striving excessively for perfection.

 

The teacher carefully guides and corrects each participant, ensuring that the postures are performed safely and effectively.

 

In this way, Transformative Yoga supports not only physical strength and flexibility, but also mental balance, resilience and the prevention of stress and burnout symptoms.
